DSS algorithm

Beating a stronger pair counts for more

The DSS algorithm (Dynamic Skill Score) weighs not just the result but also the rating gap between the teams. Beat a pair rated 0.5 higher and you climb more than when you beat a pair at your own level.

  • โœ“Rating gap counts in the calculation
  • โœ“Evenly matched teams move less per match
  • โœ“Starting rating per player set by the admin
  • โœ“Team rating = the average of both players
