From 4 players. The generator spreads players fairly across the courts (4 per court) and rotates who sits out when there are more players than court spots.
In an Americano you change partner every round. You play with rotating teams against rotating opponents and count points per game. At the end everyone has collected points individually.
Each round the players are rotated and split into two changing teams per court, so you keep playing with and against different players. That keeps it fair and social.
