Does your club, academy or organization play at more than one venue? In Slams you manage all your locations from a single dashboard. That way you can link every event or competition to the right location, including that venue's own courts and booking link.
Where you manage locations
Go to Settings, Locations tab. There you'll find an overview of your existing locations and a form to add a new one. For each location you set:
- Name and address: the name of the venue, the city and the street address.
- Sports: padel, tennis or pickleball, or a combination of these.
- Courts per sport: for padel you split them into doubles and singles courts, and for tennis and pickleball you enter the number of courts.
- Booking system: no integration, an external booking link (for example Playtomic) or manual scheduling. For an external link you enter the booking URL.
Linking a location to an event
Once you've saved one or more locations, a location dropdown appears when you create an event. When you pick a location, Slams automatically carries over the number of courts as the starting value for the schedule. On the public event page, players then see the name and city of the location alongside the match info. Want to fine-tune the courts afterwards? Read Setting up courts.
Don't have any fixed locations yet? Then you can also enter a location as free text for an individual event. Fixed locations are especially handy if you regularly play at the same venue, because the courts and the booking link then come along automatically.
Editing or deleting locations
Click Edit on an existing location to change its details. You can also delete a location, but not while there's still an active competition attached to it. Unlink or archive that competition first, then you can remove the location.
Which plan do you need?
Multiple locations are part of the Growth plan. With it you manage up to five clubs or locations from a single dashboard, ideal for padel networks or organizations with several venues. The Start and Club plans are aimed at a single location. Want to know more about the differences? See Plans and pricing.
