What is it?

What is Round Robin?

In a Round Robin, every team in a group plays each other team exactly once. The final standings are decided by the number of matches won and points scored. Ideal for smaller groups where every participant wants to maximise their playing time.

How does it work?

Dividing into groupsTeams are split into groups of 3 to 6 teams. Slams automatically works out the optimal group size based on the number of registrations.

Every matchup gets playedWithin the group, each team plays every other team exactly once. No single matchup is skipped.

Points per resultA win is worth 3 points, a draw 1 point, and a loss 0. Games scored are the tiebreaker.

Final standings per groupOnce all group matches are done, the final standings are set. The top two of each group advance to the next stage or the knockout.
