For 8 players, Americano and Mexicano are ideal. In Americano, partners rotate every round so everyone plays with everyone. Mexicano pairs players based on the standings. Both formats work well on 2 courts.
In Americano, partners are paired at random every round. In Mexicano, partners are paired based on the current standings: number 1 plays with number 2, number 3 with number 4, and so on. Mexicano is more competitive, Americano more social.
Americano or Mix-Americano (mixed) are the most popular for business events. After two hours you have played with every duo. King of the Court is a great addition for a lively closing round.
Yes. Slams supports multiple formats within a single tournament. You can start with a group stage (Round Robin) and finish with a knockout round. The transition is generated automatically.
Most formats start from 4 players (2 teams). Americano and Mexicano work best with at least 8 players on 2 courts. A ladder has no minimum, it grows along with the club.
