Creating an account on Slams is free and takes just a few minutes. You don't need a credit card. Every new account automatically starts on the Start plan, which lets you manage two simultaneously active competitions, up to 20 teams and one location. Want more? You can upgrade later with a single click. See the plans and pricing for the differences.
How to create an account
Go to the registration page and follow two short steps. In step 1 you choose what kind of account you're creating, and in step 2 you fill in your details. Do you run a club, an academy or standalone tournaments? Then you'll create your public page at the same time.
Club, academy or organizer: which type do you choose?
When you sign up, you choose one of four account types. The first three are organizations with their own public page on Slams, and the fourth is a personal player account.
- Club: for padel, tennis or pickleball clubs that run competitions, ladders and tournaments for their members.
- Academy: for padel or tennis schools and academies that organize training groups and internal events.
- Organizer: for anyone who organizes events or a tournament series independently of a fixed club.
- Player: a personal account to join events and track your results and rating.
The three organization types work exactly the same in the dashboard and all get the free Start plan. The difference is mainly in the labels on your public page, so there's no need to worry about making the wrong choice.
Your details and your own address
For an organization account you fill in your name, email address and a password (at least 8 characters), plus the name of your club, academy or organization and your main sport (padel, tennis or pickleball). Slams automatically turns that name into your own web address, for example slams.app/yourclub. This becomes your public club page where players find your events and register.
Confirming your email
If you create a club, academy or organizer account, you're logged in straight away and land right in the dashboard. If you choose a player account, we first send a confirmation email from noreply@slams.app. Click the link in that email to activate your account. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email, or request it again on the confirmation screen.
Your first steps after signing up
Your dashboard includes a checklist that guides you through the key steps to go live:
- Complete your club page with a logo and description.
- Create your first event. Not sure how to set it up? Read which format to choose or start with a tournament or ladder competition.
- Add players or let them register themselves.
- Optional: connect a payment method if you want to collect entry fees.
