Instead of typing in every result yourself behind your laptop, you can let players fill in their own match. Every match in the schedule has a unique score-entry link (a page at /wedstrijd/...) that you share via WhatsApp, a group chat, or a QR code. The player opens the link, taps in the score, and confirms. No login is needed, and the link only works for that one match.
Where to find the link
The score-entry links appear in the dashboard as soon as the schedule has been generated. Open the part, go to the Schedule or Rounds tab, and next to every match that has not been played yet there is a button to copy the link. Once a result has been entered, the button disappears for that match.
What the player sees
The score-entry page shows the club logo, the name of the part, the team names, and (if you have set up a day plan) the court and time. The input field sits below that. The page automatically follows your club's language: clubs in the Netherlands and Belgium get Dutch, clubs in other countries get English. You do not need to set anything for this.
Score entry differs per format
How the player enters the score depends on the format:
- Per set (tournament and league): the player enters the games per set, for example 6-4 6-2.
- One number per side (Americano, Mexicano, the Mix variants, Beat the Box, and Team Clash): a single points or games total per team.
The winner requirement also differs per format. A tournament needs a winner, so a draw is rejected. League, the Americano family, Beat the Box, and Team Clash do allow tied results. Slams checks this automatically when you save.
Which formats support it
The score-entry link works for tournament (group matches only, not the knockout stage), league, Americano, Mexicano, Mix Americano, Mix Mexicano, Beat the Box, and Team Clash. For ladder and King of the Court the link is not available: these formats do not create matches in advance for a link to attach to.
After entering the score
As soon as a player confirms, the match is marked as played and the result counts toward the standings. For formats that affect the rating (such as tournament and Beat the Box), the rating is updated right away. If something is wrong, you can still adjust the result from the dashboard. See correcting a result. If you would rather work with a QR code per court, you can also use the court QR codes.
