Credits are your players' saved balance within your club. Players build up credits by taking part actively and can then use that balance as a discount on a paid registration. This rewards loyal players without separate discount codes or manual calculations.
What is a credit worth?
Every credit has a fixed euro value within your club. By default, 1 credit equals €1. So a player with 45 credits has €45 in balance. The balance is recorded per player and only counts within your club, not at other clubs.
How do players earn credits?
- Playing and winning matches: every match played earns credits, with an extra bonus for the winner. This happens automatically as soon as you enter a result.
- Earning badges: when a player earns a badge, they receive extra credits.
- Prizes in King of the Court: set your prize credits and they are automatically distributed across the top places when the event ends. See King of the Court.
- Awarding manually: as an admin you can award credits yourself (or deduct them) from the Engagement dashboard.
Using credits when registering
A player redeems credits at the moment of registering for a part with an entry fee. Note: the player must be logged in with a player account, otherwise the balance is not known and the credits option does not appear.
In the registration screen, a toggle such as "Use X credits" appears. The balance is deducted from the amount due, up to a maximum equal to the entry fee. So you can never apply more credits than the registration costs, and nothing is paid out. If the balance covers the full amount, the registration is confirmed right away without payment. If a remaining amount is left, you settle that through the linked payment method.
Credits are deducted from the balance immediately at registration. If the payment fails or expires, the used credits are automatically refunded, so a player never loses balance on an incomplete registration.
Where do you see the balance?
Players see their own balance and its euro value on their player profile. As an admin you will find an overview per player in the Engagement dashboard and in the credits column of your player list.
